There are 13 restaurants, identified by the Toques (Chef's Hat) d'Opale logo who have set up a quality charter to guarantee their customers authentic cuisine using local, seasonal produce. Each restaurant has created a signaure Toques d'Opale dish priced at between 25 and 30€.
Whether on a weekend break or a longer stay in the region take the time to discover these local establishments where you are guaranteed a warm welcome and to experience the local traditons.

At only 7 years old Stephane Pruvot already knew that he wanted to be a chef. He has realised this dream by working in some of the best known restaurants in France.

Head Chef at Cote St Jacques at Joigny for 5 years he took over "Le Grand Cerf" at Marquise in 1991. An acient post office dating from 1795 and situated only 2 minutes from the A16 and the channel crossings in the heart of the Opal coast.

"Local, modern cooking" is how the guides define this restaurant (15 in the Gault and Millaut" signature dishes such langoustines in tempura batter with fennel.. You will come back to "Le Grand Cerf" again and again for its dishes but also to meet the chef that is happy to talk to you about his cooking with such passion.
